On Wednesday, November 11, Winchester Gardens celebrated Veterans Day to honor all veterans with a flag raising including taps and bell ringing accompanied by Maplewood Police Department and Winchester Gardens resident Richard Mullen, Veteran Trumpeter. Immediately following the flag raising, there was a resident Veterans ceremony invocation, wreath placement, and Veterans Day address. Community members at Winchester Gardens acknowledged and honored 34 Veterans who served our country and live at the community. Refreshments were served in the Westminster Veterans Lounge for all to enjoy. Thank you to all of our resident Veterans; we salute you!
