Personalized Care in a State of the Art Facility
When you need short-or long-term care for yourself or a loved one, the new healthcare center at Winchester Gardens has enhanced our ability to provide high-quality senior care on our unique campus in Maplewood, New Jersey.
We officially broke ground on this innovative new healthcare center in September of 2017 and will complete construction in late 2018. The project includes a renovation of the existing 43,000 square foot Pitney and Hardin Buildings and a 25,000 square foot expansion. Our goal was to create a more open and modern neighborhood design without sacrificing any of the historic appeals of our stunning architecture. Additionally, the expansion of the healthcare center provides the capacity to fully meet the needs of the Winchester Garden residents. This means that should the level of care required change, residents may remain in the community they already call home, with the staff and friends they love nearby.
Upon completion of the renovations, the new healthcare center will feature 102 beds in four distinct neighborhoods:
- Sheffield Rehabilitation Neighborhood
- Manchester Memory Care Assisted Living Neighborhood
- Cambridge Assisted Living with Long-Term Care Support
- Nottingham Assisted Living Neighborhood
Each neighborhood will offer unique design elements and amenities like a dedicated dining room and kitchen, activity rooms and other comfortable common areas. All residents will have access to the award-winning LivWell program to ensure they continue to enjoy the highest quality of life and optimal wellness. Additionally, the entire facility will have full backup power from a dedicated onsite generator.
